Increase of digitally filed annual reports

This year Central Commercial Register received 54 210 annual reports. More is to come but this number includes only reports that have been filed on time.

Approximately 28 % of annual reports were filed through Company Registration Portal. Compared to last year this number has increased more than 9, 5%. Next year it is mandatory for Estonian companies to file annual report electronically, this means that annual report must be filed through Company Registration Portal.

Centre of Registers and Information Systems is proud to announce that during the first half of the year 46 % from all new legal entities were registered through Company Registration Portal. Compared to the last year there is an 11% of increase. At the beginning of the year first digitally registered cross boarder company was launched by Finnish businessmen. This is the first step in the era of digital signing and establishing cross border companies and we hope that entrepreneurs benefit out of the new opportunities.

Company Registration Portal (CReP) is a portal for the entrepreneurs to communicate with the registration departments of the courts and the Central Commercial Register to perform different acts in the register. Estonian citizens can access the portal by ID-card, Mobil-ID or via bank-link. Portuguese, Finnish and Belgian citizens can access the portal by ID-card and Lithuanian citizens by Mobile-ID.
