e-File

The E-File is a central information system that provides an overview of the different phases of criminal, civil, administrative and misdemeanour proceedings, procedural acts and court adjudications to all the parties involved, including the citizen and their representatives. It is an integrated system for proceedings enabling the simultaneous exchange of information between different parties.

The e-File saves time and money as data are only entered once and the communication between parties is electronic. It is also safe and secure because only authorized systems and users with sufficient rights have access to case information. Last but not least, it enables a completely digital workflow for all the parties to the proceeding process and provides precise statistics in the legal protection field.

The e-File project received a special mention at the 2014 European Crystal Scales of Justice Awards. The e-File is a European Union funded project.
